This online course introduces you to the requirements as a driver of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and the Chain of Responsibility which promotes and supports the safe and productive transport of goods and people by heavy vehicles.
The aim of this course is to give you an understanding of the key requirements of the Heavy Vehicle National Law and the Chain of Responsibility primary duties and obligations and how it relates to you as a driver.
The course includes an overview of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Regulations, the Chain of Responsibility (CoR) primary duties and obligations to ensure so far as is reasonably practicable the safety of your transport activities as a driver and an outline of the Supply Chain parties under the Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
The course includes the requirements and obligations as a driver under the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Responsibilities of supply chain parties for Fatigue, Speed compliance, Load restraint, Mass and dimension, heavy vehicle safety and roadworthiness, and enforcement provisions including on-road compliance inspections and the levels of Breach Categories.

Durations - Complete online at your own pace (Self-paced) and the Module will take approximately 75 minutes to complete.
Certificate - Upon successful completion of the Module and the assessment questions, participants will be issued with a Certificate of Completion.
