Description
This course explains the key requirements for drivers under the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and the Chain of Responsibility (CoR), which supports the safe and productive transport of goods and people by heavy vehicles.
The course explains the primary duties and obligations under the HVNL and CoR, and how these requirements apply to you as a driver and outlines the responsibilities of supply chain parties in helping to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety of transport activities.

• Driver responsibilities under the Heavy Vehicle National Law and Chain of Responsibility
• The roles of supply chain parties in managing fatigue, speed compliance, load restraint, mass and dimension, vehicle safety, and roadworthiness
• Enforcement provisions, including on-road compliance inspections and breach categories
