This online course outlines the requirements for Isolation and Lock Out & Tag Out (LOTO) and is intended to help workplaces design and implement their own safe energy isolation procedures to reduce the risk of injury or death during plant inspections, repairs, maintenance, and or cleaning.

The aim of this online course is to provide an introduction to the risks associated with using plant, the key terms and definitions which apply to isolation lock out and tag out, lock out and tag out equipment, the principles of energy isolation, and the steps to be followed in an Isolation and Lock Out & Tag Out (LOTO) Procedure.
